Mini Portrait Session Flyers

Done in Adobe Illustrator for an annual fundraiser for the local Elementary School’s Parents and Faculty Together (PFT) organization, this design is a flyer that is put in the group’s annual welcome packet that is sent home in student’s folders at the beginning of the year.  It is also applied to the school’s weekly digital newsletter, as well as posted to the Group’s Facebook account and emailed out to the membership email list.  With images provided by the photographer, the design considered based on the colors of the season, pictures that are chosen and the colors of the logo.  A QR code is created to link to the booking website and the dates and information is prominently displayed.  Special care is made to create negative space and simplistic design because things at the beginning of the school year is hectic and there are lots of text and graphic heavy flyers and newsletters being sent home to parents at this time of year.  The minimalistic approach is done to attract extra attention by the viewer.  These flyers have been especially successful since this fundraiser has sold out every year.
